It’s been a very closely consented tournament for the U13s and U16s, the EDF Futsal Youth Tournament 2023/24 – Opening Championship was held at Derby Arena on Sunday 29th October 2023.
In Derby Arena, in the duration of the tournament, we have had over 225 people attendance and ran by the EDF Youth. The U13s and U16s played for the whole day.
In total, we have had 4 clubs, 12 teams, 70 matches, 218 goals scored, two Semi-Finals, two 3rd/4th Play-offs, two Finals, 48 medals and two trophies!
Twelve (12) Deaf youth teams together entered from as far as middle in the Midlands to South to Wiltshire, namely Derby Deaf Futsal, Birmingham Junior Deaf, Farsley Celtic Deaf Colts and Reds Team.
The tournament for U13s and U16s were a huge success with 12 teams battling it out on pitch A and B.
